OK, so you'd not use this again on the outside of a pressurised fuselage but as a cockpit opening it'll live to fight another day. It's actually mid-way through the repair process here and you can just see the shape of the curved opening beginning to return at the bottom and that straight edge at forty-five degrees at the right is where the aft end of the track goes that K7's centre canopy roller once ran in. Still a bit of work in it yet.
