Alain is the youngest member of the team, a motor mechanic of 14 years experience. Due to his total inability to come back with any kind of witty response, Alain finds himself the butt of every joke, his unfailing good humour ensures that he never gets upset, instead, he just sits and glowers. He’s a first rate mechanic, good with electrical and electronic systems. Although a very enthusiastic member of the boat crew, he isn’t happy to be in the water, preferring to stay in the wheelhouse and drive the boat or take care of the navigation. Alain is the sort of guy who will sit and read the instruction book from cover to cover before operating something, he’ll sit for hours trying every possible combination of wires until he gets an interface working. Bit of a thinking man is our Alain.
