Over the weeks we developed many tricks and cheats to get the tubes clear of debris. In this case, Novie is blowing the rivet tails around inside the tube with a blow-gun poked into a hole whilst balancing the rivet spoon in the opening. Do that for long enough and the tails would eventually leap onto the spoon and line up ready for disposal. Notice the jar of rivet tails hanging above.
