The main spar bolts to a series of 3/8” BSF captive nuts, which are in turn mounted on strips of aluminium that are riveted onto the frame around the inside of the spar aperture; the originals are rather poorly so here Gillian offers up a newly made example ahead of making some further new ones of her own.
