Comments: I visited the Ruskin Museum last week (Steve Hogarth of Marillion's birthday, coincidentally), even without the Bluebird there it's quite an experience. It's amazing to think that the story doesn't end with the crash and it's clear that you are doing the right thing for the right reasons. Out of this world...

Comments: I am a mechanic / engineer and I used to build boats (ribs) and helped build two boats that achieved speed records . I have had a great fondness for the bluebird story since from been a youngster and love the lakes . I can't really put into words how amazing this project is but I can appreciate the epic scale of such an undertaking . I long to see and hear this craft alive and kicking!!! I am routing for all involved!!!for what it is worth keep up the graft. Yours. Andy

Comments: Today I attempted to make a donation to the restoration fund but was unable to do so, as the template assumes that all donations originate from within the UK. When I reached for my address re---County I was unable to insert my Spanish one ie; Valencia as all options were assumed to be UK based. How many more opportunities have you missed by this single track notion. Please correct so I can contribute.

Comments: Hi there! Well done with your project! Both Malcolm and Donald were like superheroes when I was a boy..I remember watching Donald that fateful day..i was just 9 years old then. I was devastated! I would love to come and watch Bluebird at Coniston..could you please keep me informed when she runs? it would be a valuable piece of history for me! Even better if I could take a pic of me with her! Yours, andy taylor

Comments: I am currently reading "The Bluebird Years" and have recently been to Coniston to get a feel for the book and its story. I have to admit I am becoming somewhat fascinated by the whole thing and find myself doing more and more research. I also feel I have a little bit of a connection in as much as I used to work for Fairline Boats for the Newington family which at that time was being run Sam Newington. His father Jack would have supplied the Fairlne 19 boats that were used. Looking through websites and reading the book I find that I may have a photograph that may not be know about, but it is a shot of Bluebird tied up on the jetty with the two Fairlines in the foreground. There are many people assembled on the jetty but I have no idea who they all are. Keep up the good work.
