The story of Malcolm Campbell and Bluebird has always fascinated me. Since being a teenager I've tatted with (and bodged) British motorbikes. Being from the same era as my bikes, Bluebird has the same feel about it's construction. I can't wait to see it complete and running.

On Jan 4, 2012 I heard an interview with Gina Campbell and a report about the Bluebird on the local National Public Radio station WBEZ. I followed up with research about the history of Donald Campbell and the Bluebird then found your site. I had only a vague recollection of the Bluebird from my youth. I find your work and commitment to the project Bluebird restoration project very inspiring and intend to purchase some DVDs. Keep up the good work.

Some forty six years ago I remember coming in to the living room with my Dad sitting with his newspaper infront of the fire about to watch the evening news. I remember asking him, "Did he make it ?". There was no answer. In silence we watched the report(he had already heard). No words were spoke and I went to bed early and imagined what was sitting on the lake bed. Thanks to you efforts all will be lifted not just in body but in spirit.
