It's hard to believe that not to many years ago what you now see in the photo wasn't there, one hell of a job.

Re: The Vulcan XH558 & General Aviation Thread

Hi

For those of you who are interested, the reunion of giant two Lancaster DVD is now available, it's available from East Kirkby aviation centre or http://www.sonusmedia.co.uk.

Mine is on the way as I type.

Not many MK2 Lancs were build so any surviving parts are well worth restoring, especially with a known history, my late grandfather flew 51 ops in Lancs and not of those op's was in a MK2, he also flew in a number of planes shifting them far and wide and again, never a mk2.

Re: Pic of the Day

Just when you think there can't be anymore original Bluebird parts left another piece comes out of storage and back in it's rightful place, some with original to paint as well!

Re: The Barracuda Project

Well done Bill for a great brilliant discussion, I think this is going to turn out to be another "data plate" build rather than any attempt at an actual restoration which is a terrible shame knowing that you already had it in hand to be as near as damn it all Barra, please correct me if I ...

Wow, that's a shame after all the work you have put in to it, I hope the FAAM are going to refund the public the donation's they sent in for the rebuild now it's all come to an end.
