Re: Donald Campbell's restored Bluebird in museum home row

After seeing K7 at Bute, the last thing i want to see is that she's tucked away in Coniston, only to be seen by tourism trade. She's now a living memorial not only to a great man & his team, but a great, never to be seen again era. I'd personally rather she was toured, whether it's Austrailia, U.S.A...

I’m on the case with a 1/12 crusader - it’s 3rd in the queue at the moment!
Where are those plans from Rich?

As I said on Monday I cannot make it. My son was going but his wife has insisted on a weekend away.
He's just down the road - he can call up to see us anytime. Black Knight, sorry to hear about your father. The partner of one of our much-loved team members is undergoing a similar ordeal right now so we know how it goes. Feeling rubbish through chemo seems to be a transient thing so I hope he feels better soon.
Thanks Bill, hopefully next time 👍

Sorry guys, I'm not going to make it. My father has started chemo last week & isn't too good so i'll have to stay with him.

Maybe next time.

Re: The Vulcan XH558 & General Aviation Thread

For those that frequented air displays in the 80's, Lindsay Walton, the most shot down survivor in history, has passed away :( Lindsay operated the 1st F-4U-7 Corsair in Europe, in French markings, based at Duxford. He also had a Me 108 which was what he was shot down in at every show. Along with a ...

Re: Visit to North Shields- model makers.

I think flight would arrive at Newcastle 09:40, getting out & cab will probably take it to 11 arrival at the shop.
