Re: New Website
Hiya Al. Congrats on the new look website, there's a lot on there I really do prefer. But sorry, I have to agree with DamienB about the new blue background, it's just a bit too vivid for me. Perhaps it's just oldies like me, but if you sit reading a lot of text, it seems to pull your eyes out  ...

A Tipsy Cogitation
Last night, me and the Memsahib were sharing a noggin or two and I was telling her just how magnificent the rebuilt cockpit opening of K7 with her foredeck and canopy rails in place looked and I have to admit to imagining Donald sitting in this really small space and letting an Orpheus loose behind ...

Re: Vulcan XH558
Couldn’t agree more with Bill’s last posting. I saw the Vulcan flying at the Sunderland airshow and it is a magnificent, amazing sight/sound. The big problem, as I see it, is that the British government never seems to look further forward than the life of a single parliament, so to spend money on lo...

Re: joke of the day
The Lone Ranger and Tonto stopped in the desert for the night. After they got their tent all set up, both men fell sound asleep. Some hours later, Tonto wakes the Lone Ranger and says, "Kemo Sabe, look towards sky, what you see?" The Lone Ranger replies, "I see millions of stars."...

Re: Pic of the Day
The rollover jig is definitely the jewel in the crown of all the things that have been made to rebuild K7. “Good old British engineering” somebody once said and that’s true. Whatever is needed to make the build easier has been made and all at a sensible cost to the project. When the frame needed to ...

Re: Pic of the Day
Now watch it, you lot. I’m back from holiday now and catching up with the news and I’m a bit surprised it took 10 posts before the name of the Man among Boys cropped up ;) ;) You can count me in for January and August and if we’re a bit short on the girl’s side, I’ll willingly wear my wig and falsie...

Re: Technical Talk
If it’s a bit quiet at the minute, here’s a question involving the fuel tank (POTD). I’m not sure how much fuel the Orph burns per hour, but I gather the tank holds about 45 gallons, so how many miles to the gallon would K7 do? (Or is it gallons to the mile). :? My guess is that she wouldn’t be a lo...
