Hi not been on here for a while but have been following , my question firstly is , the indentations that have been put into the air trunk for the air start bottles do these indentations impede directly into the path of the incoming airflow or is the trunk made up of a double skin . Re: Opinion Poll- Rebuild or Conserve?

In my opinion the whole idea of this project is to renovate the boat to 1967 spec and the hpc control is a vital part in the boat , also whos to say that the lever werent thrown to and fro during the boats contortions during the crash anyway and after all it didnt play a direct part in the crash its...

Re: The Last run....

If you view the footage at normal speed it is easier to pick up the pattern as the brake deploys , you have to be quick as it only produces a puff of higher spray above the spray plume for a second before the stern leaves the water completely.

Re: Canopy

Thats interesting i suppose it would have been easier to leave the steel strip there rather than try to dismantle the intake assembly, it must have been very well embedded then as not to have been removed when they had to rebuild the intakes in 66. So if the hinge strip is on the boat still and the ...

Re: Canopy

The old canopy is at filching manor but it is only the front screen which was a fixed piece, as part of the hinged piece broke up during a test run nearly deafening DMC , fortunately he managed to shut the beryl down before the canopy was ingested through the engine hence why the norris brothers had...
