Re: Bluebird Christmas Gifts

Awful looking cross stitch... I'll get my missus on the case, she can design them to a better standard than that!

Re: 'Bluebird Blue'- The Answer!

Thanks Mike - interesting! Naturally a colour that has no direct equivalent in any of the model paint ranges... but it is remarkably close to FS 15050 (Blue Angels Blue) and I think if you combined Humbrol 15 (Midnight Blue) with Humbrol 104 (Oxford Blue), 50:50, you'd get a close match too.

Re: BBP Diary

Sounds like you have a strict rate limit in place on your outgoing email server - many of them introduce short delays into email sending and increase the delay size with each identical email going through until you're facing delays of many minutes per email. A word with your ISP would be in order.

Re: "The Heart Of The Gnat"

Not a name I know - I've dealt with Julian Temple and John Pulford, both are clued up - could be worth getting them involved.

Re: "The Heart Of The Gnat"

Brooklands are normally quite clued up on copyright - who have you been dealing with?

Re: "The Heart Of The Gnat"

Well you guys could always rip the Gnat bits off and have a good basis for a Gnat restoration. And then all you'd need is a Beryl and you could restore K7 to, say, the state she was in on 31/12/1964...

It'll be ZD, XZ is a much older range - mostly Gazelles (which that one is) and Hawks.

...or that it was improperly installed, serviced or maintained. A press release to put some poor armourer into a worse mood than he already was... not gentlemanly.
