Thats really cool to see, I dont think I've seen any old pics of the instrument panel that were good enough to read the sticky labels.

Re: Bye Law Amendment for K7

Its funny that in this age where governments, banks, hlf etc all act in underhand ways it doesn't exactly inspire the average person to play fair, hence my idea - but no more arfur daley / del boy suggestions from me! I have to applaud the spirit of bluebird project, seeing as K7 came from an era wh...

Re: Bye Law Amendment for K7

Much like pyramid selling it does not take too many levels of passing the 'message' before all who will be positive to the proposal will be contacted. Well done to all who are spreading the details. We will need to have as many supporters by March 31st. as we can muster. Someone has posted in the f...

Re: Bluebird Project You Tube Channel

I like both the progress vids but I thought you should have held back with the first one until the dry build was done, then do the second one covering the chocky sauce build. Still, what do I know? I trust you'll be doing a complete video once K7 is finished, from finding her, through fixing her to ...

Pic of the Day

Loving the new pic of the day feature on the front page of the website.

Can we have little links or something so we can view pics of previous days? I check the site regularly but I'm not a total saddo and sometimes spend a day or so away from a computer - but I dont want to miss any of these pics.

Re: Bye Law Amendment for K7

Could the bye law be got round by inventing a water speed record with a 'clause' - say 'the world waterspeed record for 40+ year old craft'?

Re: Not about the Boat

Not about the boat - shock horror - will the thread get locked? - who can tell! I seem to remember some early footage of anti-grav propulsion, if I recall correctly it was something to do with the 2 discs having opposite magnetic polarity or something. It always strikes me that there are so many tec...

Re: Merry Christmas

Happy new year too. Thought I'd share an inspired Bluebird thought that struck me last night. Was watching the new year fireworks by the Thames and while looking over at the houses of parliament I couldn't help but think it would be lovely to start Bluebird up right outside. I know she wasn't made f...

Re: original streeing wheel

I remember a pic after the accident showing a large piece of sponson with the logo on it lying by a jetty, I'm assuming this is lost as I remember a diary entry mentioning new sponsons being made. So how much stuff was recovered in 67 that has now disappeared? Have any people who bought parts at the...
