Re: Opinion Poll- Rebuild or Conserve?

I can see the point of leaving the lever set as it is, it would certainly make an interesting and poignant exhibition piece aside from K7 herself - although I personally think it belongs back on the boat as a working part, doing what it was designed to do. However, I reckon the silver lining with th...

Re: 1966/67 Boatshed

You cant beat the old square box defender type Landys, these freelander or discovery things aint proper Landrovers.

Re: 1966/67 Boatshed

Guys, It's longer than 30 feet. A landrover is 16 ft long, K7 was 26 feet. I have pics taken by eddie whitham showing a six foot gap between the two and no more than 4 ft of the LR beyond the back of the shed. Make it 42-44 ft and you are nearer the mark... To be exact a LWB landy is 15' 3'' and a ...

Re: Pic of the Day

Quite, and you HAVE just had a 6,000 word diary entry from Bill to read too! It was a good one too - the recent pics both on POTD and the Diary give a real sense of how she's coming along. She's not looking like old and holey pieces of metal bashed into the shape of Bluebird any more, in some pics ...

Re: 1966/67 Boatshed

I'd start with the Landy again- the shed is approximately three times the width of the one in that picture. (ish) So, back to Klingon- how wide is the Landy mate? Length of vehicle bumper to rear crossmember-roughly 175.001 inches-(4.445m) Breadth at widest point-(front bulkhead doorhinges)-approxi...
