Re: Pic of the Day

Brilliant seeing the 'floor-back-on' pic in POTD today! Easy for onlookers to take milestones for granted these days, but any way you look at it this is one of the biggies.

Re: The Bloodhound SSC/Thrust/Noble Thread

It's absolutely terrific that the Bloodhound team have reached the point of running the car. A tribute to the sheer tenacity of Richard & Co.

History's been made, and it will only get more exciting from here.

Re: What have forum members been up to?

The BBC News website caught my eye this morning, reporting: "In 2015 a French court prevented a couple from naming their baby girl Nutella after the hazelnut spread, ruling that it would make her a laughing stock." Surely to God, it would only be a laughing stock if they'd named it Oxo. I'...

Re: The Vulcan XH558 & General Aviation Thread

It's rather too early to speculate, but the Typhoon crash bears tragic hallmarks of G-LOC. There appears to have been no attempt to pull out of the dive and there was no attempt at ejecting either - at least, judging from what can be seen here. Very sad indeed. I saw an altogether happier display by...
