46100 "Royal Scot" just outside Lancaster.
In the background is the Ashton memorial, seen by many thousands of people, when travelling North on the M6, not so far from the turn off for the Lake District!

We've still got one or two "bullnose" types knocking about, the Deltics. There's a close up of one here, on a once in a lifetime special along the Heysham nuclear power station branch line.
