Re: Other Speed Record Breakers Are Available!

Side on footage has been put on fb by Triumph Global. Does not help with identifying the stability of the streamliner. Guy says it was all OK. If it was not for Guy this would be just 'another' USA speed bid  Folk present on the salt ahead of Speedweek have reported seeing the 'van' flash by at...

Re: Pic of the Day

Re: The Fred Thread

It would be a 'technical entry' if the last few sentences uttered by DMC have been proven by voice analysis to be something other than ending " ...I'm going .." or ".... I'm gone .." or anything similar.

Fast FACTS would need a review copy of abook to give a 'plug' to enthusiasts.

Re: Pic of the Day

[the biggest drawback is that 90% of them are useless so there was never really the incentive from the point of view of rebuilding the boat. Not to Novie would they ever be 'useless'. As Steve doesn't want to do it again, keep Mike B and those matches away and I will try to find some time in my dia...

Yes, the joys of crawling around the floor unrolling them looking for one you know you've seen sometime in the past... Priceless indeed! Probably a bit late for a BBP filing and storage system with a drawing record log book. My first summer vacation job during my degree course introduced me to such...

Re: Miss Britain III

Hmm - does this mean we've built it all the wrong shape? The K7 in those pictures doesn't look like what we've made. Clearly 34 years in the water distorted something Bill .................... but whatever shape it is, a 'K7' can take part in a proving trial on Coniston Water ............ (almost).
