Re: The Vulcan XH558 & General Aviation Thread

Goof on 633 squadron-anyone notice the series one Landrover in the film supposedly dated about 4 or 5 years before they were invented? :ugeek: Not to mention the decidedly post-war grey Fergie being used as a tug. Re: Pic of the Day

Re: Officially full of wind!

I don't suppose I will be challenging Jordan for speed, but I can't wait to get this one wet on Coniston Water with a sail full of wind! Re: SS Nomadic (& other historic vessels)

I wouldn't be able to spot the difference between a Poussin and a mucky postcard, but I did once find myself in the expensively climate controlled store at an art gallery being harangued by a type 3 museologist on the importance of the dozens of artworks that were hanging there...on Dexion racks. Re: broken Barracuda Project

kid and his dad could not see what was wrong with picking up dead people and hand grenades.......it takes all sorts. Makes you wonder what particularly foetid corner of the gene pool they crawled out of. Visited the B-24 Liberator wreck above Shieldaig a few years back. A sad one as the fifteen on ...

Re: What did you do at the weekend?

I actually woke up next morning thinking, ouch! my head hurts, having sunk a few bottles of an exquisite India Pale Ale I was offered by the barman at my hotel. It comes very highly recommended. http://www.meantimebrewing.com/our-store/india-pale-ale Hey - maybe the palace was only a dream after al...

Re: BBP Diary

Thanks for another great diary, Bill. Though you lost me bit at the AFRC...or was it the PRL...whatever! I'll have another go tomorrow when my brain cools down. Impressed that everyone around that table is looking in such good order that far into a skinful - all except for Girl who clearly ne...

Stick a plumber's poo-plunger on the side and you're there.
'Exterminate, exterminate, I will exterminate...' cue scary music, roll credits.
