Yes your right Mike,sometimes in modelling scale beats you also at that end you have to keep in mind that there is a lot of fire retardant material goes in , and the exhaust is from a 1/6th scale F16 ,my engine compared to other models is set further back and the mounting gear takes into account that after the runs she makes, hopefully good ones ,I'm putting a 50Ib + turbine in from the 35Ib that's when we will see her go! Then the old turbine will go in the CN7 I'm going to build,But in the end I will get her as close as poss to the real K7 that's my goal,I'm looking forward to see from the telemetry the G forces she pulls....from a standing start to full throttle and off coarse the on board camera system, the boat has a lot of telemetry gadgets in will be nice to see results and how it handles,

Hi all just a quick post to show all how my sponson planing ends are progressing they are not exact and need a little more work scale of model fights against me sometimes,if I were to give anyone advise the bigger you can go in scale the better.as I said need work but getting their

Another couple of photos showing rear wedge and water break ,lots of finishing of ie rear wedge to be formed in aluminium the back of boat water break etc lots of wet and dry sanding to flatten undercoat,,,lots to do!

Hi all not posted for a while long story but here is a couple of pics as I'm now back working on K7 and Jet star hope all working on BBP are keeping well ....I know the undercoat looks ruff but once sanded down every dent crease will be shown when top coat goes on the aluminium on intakes is there to reproduce the colour shade of the new intakes fitted be for the last run.

Thanks for the feedback,,, you would not believe how much this project has helped me health wise! Long story but I look forward to working on my K7 each day.

Hello all couple of more photos and a little help the exhaust of K7 does the red cover clip on? I can't quite make out on photos but on one photo of the exhaust without cover looks like it has a rim round it is this were the cover clips too any help is appreciated
