Must admit, that North American Eagle thing scares the crap out of me!

That thing sure looks scary! Would be great if North American Eagle broke the SSC record first and then Bloodhound topped it, to add some variety.

I guess it must be a similar situation to the existing Water Speed Record, it would be great if someone, anyone! gets to break it before Ken and son take it back across the Pond! Chris

It looks absolutely amazing and the best bit is that it's called the Bloodhound 'Diary' and not 'blog', which we all know is not a word in the English language.

Fantastic looking promotional clip indeed, though I do wonder just how much input Andy Green can possibly have at 1000mph?!

Bloodhound have even made it to the front page of the BBC website! For those with a facebook inclination there have been a whole bunch of updates yesterday and this morning. Please dont throw me off here for using the 'F' word...! Chris

Chris- where do you think I get many of the links I post on this thread?! ;)

(Use of the 'F' word on here is permissible, but only if it's said in a particularly anoraky-sounding nasally voice. This appeases the project leader and allows the rest of us to have mentioned our choice of social networking website! )

I don't see why we should tolerate such foul and disgusting language on our forum. That's the F-word appeared and I've seen the C-word this week too. Will Mr Moderator please add F******k and the abbreviation of 'can not' to the swear filter without delay.

...okay, so it doesn't appease him that much!
