That just shows how technology in general has advanced since the era when K7 was a record breaker. If Donald Campbell & his team were all alive & attempting either water or land speed records, the 21st century Bluebird would doubtless have all the bells & whistles that 2016 could supply. In fact, wasn't K7 considered to be technologically advanced when it was first built?

So not unexpectedly, the big news that BSSC have been promising today turns out to be a title sponsor-

Great news that they are now debt free and able to get back to work, but it's shame I think that no company from the UK was able/willing to step up to the mark.

They like to copy us - K7's is the wrong way up. And they call their diary a diary too...

Not sure if it's correct but someone online pointed out that all mention of Jaguar has been removed from the car and their website- but I guess sponsors come and go.

This China thing doesn't sit well with me at all I'm afraid.

The Geely cars are just for the South African attempt, if I read the statements made on Monday correctly. The Jaguar engine stays to pump peroxide. Bloodhound branded Jaguar cars have been seen on the roads of the UK.

BBC News piece.

Someone needs to ask Richard when they'll be finished. I mean, he absolutely must know! What sort of a project manager is he? This is rubbish.
