I think his expressions, especially at the start, reveal a lot! Interesting concave profile on the front tyre, unless it's not yet inflated - which seems likely.

The Castrol Rocket has always been a gorgeous bit of kit and it will be interesting to see how Guy gets on with his new challenge but let's not kid ourselves that this is a British effort, this is very much a North American inspired adventure. Should make for mega TV though!

You might have thought that a coat of paint would have been applied for his new ride?

Because of salt conditions Guy will have very limited testing time before the BMST meeting. As the bike was not built for him he will have some familiarisation work before the event.

One thing I admired from his last TV series was his personal preparations for any of the speed attempts he was undertaking - especially Pikes Peak altitude - so he should be fit for the salt and its temperatures ...................... if they can find enough heaters in Great Grimsby.

A proper legend! How long will it be before he is announced as one of the new Top Gear presenters?

Would definitely recommend reading his book "Speed" - it was interesting to read that after struggling to come to terms with the fame brought about by his media work, Guy was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome.

Guy Martin wins the southern 100 on the Isle of Man for the 3 time in a row. This equals Joey Dunlops record of wins at this smaller event held after the initial TT 2015. It's just a pity he is not looking good to win a senior TT which most people would like to see him do. However I am really looking forward to this Triumph Speed Record Attempt, looks a nice bit of kit does that. :D not sure of his new skin head look though sported at the southern 100 :?

Lovely to listen to but would be even better to see it powering something. ;)
