Ahh - those customs boats. I wrote a novel a few years ago about an adventurous young lad whose uncle skippered a customs cutter and in the course of my research I was priviliged to be shown around this example, HMCC Seeker.

I fell in love with those boats on the spot.

Oh, and for those who complain when the diary is not updated for ages, please bollock Mike next time for nicking all the best bits and posting them on the forum before I have a chance to write 'em down! Grumble, grumble, moan...

I've seen pictures like that before, they usually have a long number underneath.

As ever, I'm astounded by the speed/quality of the work you blokes do, but nice to have a day off!!

Hi Steve,

Good to know you're still keeping an eye on us. They got that pic by making me mad then having young James nab me with a camera in a moment of weakness. I don't know why I work with them! Except that they're the greatest bunch of guys I've ever had the pleasure of working with...

Nah - that doesn't help, I'm afraid. You've only created an effect similar to that in my factory every Monday morning when the staff download their weekend's excesses then try to cover the ungodly stench with air freshener.
