Such a modest man, is our Alain. The truth is that Mike could not have trained under a better master when learning to eat a four-foot diameter pizza with extra cheese without taking a breath...

Speak for yourself - the only thing we do with sheep in Geordieland is eat them... As for vindaloo, I tried it once; much as I tried siphoning unleaded petrol through a quarter-bore hose. I remember both experiences for the burning, choking, certain conviction that I was about to suffer an agonising death - never again!

Wonder what the inhabitants of Coniston must have thought at the time the film was being made, and having Bluebird K7 - at least the replica of her - on the surface of Coniston. It must have brought back a lot of memories to when Donald Campbell and his father were setting records.

Anthony Hopkins certainly looked the part. From what I have seen of Across the Lake, I think he's got Donald's mannerism down perfectly.
