If anybody knows the bloke who started the petition, may I suggest that the title is changed from 'Bill Smith' to 'The Bluebird Project'? Don't get me wrong here - I have the utmost respect for Bill, who I think is a top bloke, but the restoration and the running of K7 has been a team effort by the BBP collectively (under Bill's leadership, of course). It also puts the BBP name out there in front of the public a bit more.
Hopefully I haven't trodden on anyone's toes by suggesting this. Only a passing thought...

Seeing as Rich and John are dragging me into the sea on Saturday morning - gulp, how un-dive-fit am I these days - by the end of next week I'll either be dead or hooked again on raping shipwrecks and dining on lobster for breakfast.
In that instance - assuming that the museum continues to baffle one and all with their peculiar brand of recalcitrance and silence - Mike has been instructed to photograph the gathering dust on K7 and the ever more chaotic piles of bits as we borrow stuff to keep the diving boat going and make a video entitled 'Lack of Progress'
