On a slightly different subject, I notice that the short clip "Impact" is still up on YouTube, purporting to demonstrate the boat rolling left just prior to hitting the water.
Now, I don't wish to re-open old controversy but as it has long since been established that this piece of archive footage is a "mirror image", might the interests of historical accuracy be better served by taking it down or at least re-editing so that it is the correct way round?

Very nice video Mike.

From a 27 year old Bluebird fanatic, who's probably responsible for a vast proportion of the hits on this website. I've been following this project since I was 16 and been a fan of the Bluebird since I was a wee lad and was told about Bluebird while fishing for char on Coniston with my dad.

A fantastic job so far chaps.

All I can say is that if I had so much as a penny to spare at the moment, it would be heading your way. Hopefully there's a Euro-millions winner out there who sees this and shares that sentiment...

A quick note about donations... naturally we gratefully receive any donations and stick rigidly to our promise that all the money goes into the boat.
And then we also like to write to all our donors on a nice crisp sheet of BBP headed paper thanking them in person whether they give us 10p or 10 quid.
Unfortunately, what all too often happens is that PayPal has no postal address listed so we can't write and I imagine that feels like sending a donation and feeling like it's been snaffled and no one cares two hoots. There's often an email address there so we can mail asking for a postal address but that's a hitty-missy way to be going on too.

So, if you're kind enough to buy us a few rivets please mail or PM us with your postal address so we can thank you properly.
