I've got one of those mugs (available in at least two designs last time I looked). Good for confusing people at work.

Given I use Pentax SLRs and DSLR I think it suits. The only use I have for a Canon lens is as a mug. :lol:

As for the Orphs, are there any museum aircraft which could be returned to taxiable status with one?

Might want to use one of your Oprh's for checking out your field based test bed. Don't want this to happen with the good one...

Oh, and talking of taking mug shots, I took this for a competition back in 2006...

Not content with being able to say he tin-bashed the original foredeck mods, he can now say he built the whole boat by hand from scratch! :lol:

A beautiful bit of work and a real prestige piece for any collection! 8-)

Yup - that's my understanding too. He made a few of those and left them lying about the place, we might still have one.

It doesn't match up with anything I've seen for Samlesbury Engineering, Accles & Pollack, Bristol Siddeley, Metropolitan Vickers or Folland.

That pretty much just leaves... Norris Brothers?

None of the above. Maybe rotate it anti-clockwise 90 degs. I think that's how it's meant to go.

Here it is - rotated, aspect corrected and trimmed;

Also flipped to negative and the contrast tweaked;

I can make out most of it but I'm still stumped.
