Sorry to say I’ve a missed a few of the recent photos and now there’s a rather nice ford Kent crossflow up. Don’t know what that’s all about but I like it. I Might have to repaint my Mk1 Ford Fiesta blue now

As explained on the main site there, our primary news feed is now via twitter but the latest tweet also appears in the old pic of the day slot, too.

...and if it's not on there, it's not happening. ;)

And the old crossflow is for our little Jetstar tender boat...

Missed the Twitter thing as the main news feed. I’m not going to be joining Twitter, Ikvenalready had to join faceb*ll*cks to keep up on other sites. Shame. But good luck with all your future ventures.

That's the good bit- you don't need to join, as the latest tweet appears on our home page too. But you don't actually need to join it at all to read posted content- have a look, there's some nice pics and videos on there from Bute etc and you might like it! And we tend to update it through workshop sessions now too- there were half a dozen updates yesterday, for example.

Whilst I understand the need to appeal to a wider audience and, indeed, applaud the adoption of such a platform, I only get a plain link entitled "Tweets by bluebirdk7" on the homepage.

Same thing for me, no matter which browser I try. May just be the security add-ons I run.....

I think it must be your security settings as I have tried Chrome, Firefox and Edge and they work also tried Safari on IOS and tried several different PC's. As it is an embedded link to our twitter feed I think you may have your security settings set to paranoid try lowering them to nervous I wouldn't go all the way down to I don't give a ####

It's funny, I just hijacked my Fiancee's laptop and looked on that. Same thing. A simple link. (Firefox and four other browsers)

Tried her iPad and it comes up fine on/in/with Safari.

Here we have two adjacent PCs- one pretty powerful with Windows 10 and the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome, and the other largely coal-fired, running Windows 7 and with older versions of both browsers. Everything loads the site home page correctly; in all instances, the embedded tweet first appears as the little yellow link for a moment, before the full thing loads. It also works correctly on my Android phone.

...but for whatever reason you're only getting the link, you can still click on it! ;)
