New Website

Post by Piston Broke » Thu Feb 10, 2011 12:10 am

Our revamped website is now up and running so why not go take a look. It's long been overdue a spring clean so here it is.
There's nothing been taken away it's only been tweaked here and there to archive some older material and make it easier to use.
Any suggestions or issues please contact [email protected]

Please note you may have to update your bookmarks to access the new site

Slightly wrong Mike

Just make sure bookmarks are pointing to www.bluebirdproject.com and not www.bluebirdproject.com/bluebirdproject as that will take you to the old site

Cheers

Al

Looks great Alain and only down and up again in the blink of an eye, with little or no disruption those who follow the rebuild. Fantastic Job mate and to all concerned in doing the tweaking. :D

Excellent Work,

The site looks fantastic, I love the side navigation and the fact that the forum doesn't open a new window, it makes it so much easier to navigate.

Thanks for all your eforts

James

Hiya Al. Congrats on the new look website, there's a lot on there I really do prefer. But sorry, I have to agree with DamienB about the new blue background, it's just a bit too vivid for me. Perhaps it's just oldies like me, but if you sit reading a lot of text, it seems to pull your eyes out
That's just my opinion, but good job mate, well done.
And I'm on my knees looking for the answer, are we Human or are we Dancer.

Full marks to the team for the new website. In my view, the change in layout is spot-on and very usable. The main messages beneath the POTD seem to have more immediate impact as a result.

I have not (yet?) had the problem with the blue background, and reading the latest diary just now, I consider it more readable than before (maybe it's an age thing ...)

Well done everyone - brilliant :D

The blue works OK for me but the fact that the forum opens in the same window and then vanishes if you refresh it is driving me nuts. I know I can right click it and open in a new tab but I shouldn't have to. Before all I did was open it once and leave it there. It wasn't broken and didn't need fixing, grr!

That only happens if you're using Google Chrome works fine in Firefox and Internet Explorer the only one I haven't tried it on is opera

Just downloaded Opera and Safari Browsers to test and works fine with Opera but the same result as Chrome with Safari
the percentage of people using these browsers are very low

Internet Explorer 26.6 %
Firefox 42.8%
Chrome 23.8%
Safari 4.0%
Opera 2.5%
