yes i knew about the 'glare shield' and have already made the instrument panel, now i can paint it black, i just wanted to know i was doing it right. the instrument panel in 1/10 scale measures in at 40mm wide x 27mm high with 6mm dial diameter.

I hope you mean a quarter-inch and not this base-ten nonsense evolved for people who can't count to twelve!

Ah, but the BA standard isn't British. It's Swiss or Swedish or some such, where people can't count to twelve.
