I got a phone call yesterday telling me to go and look at what had been posted on the forum. 15mins of footage of the events surrounding the Golden Arrow leading up to the (mad major before he was knighted) Sir Henry Segrave regaining the record for Great Britain. Not all on the site will appreciate with the greatest respect how this footage is fantastic and i personally wanted to thank Peugeot143 for making us aware of its existence. Very rare footage indeed and I'd love to know how this has come to light or found? It wants preserving if the original film is still available and would be best placed with the car at Beaulie Motor museum. A sad ending to Lee Bible and the Triplex but a valiant and brave attempt in a beast of a car that previously Ray Keech refused to ever drive again after his record run in the car.
