Miss England III
What happened to Miss England III? Wiki ends with she went to a museum. Any other known details?
Re: Miss England III
90% certain it was destroyed in the same fire that did for Miss England II. Lord Wakefield had stored a large collection in a warehouse in Chiswick, which was hit by and incendary bomb in October 1940. Because of it being war time, names etc couldn't be published, but a very small article in the local paper stated that "a famous boat, belonging (sic) to a famous motorist was destroyed in the resulting fire". There were several boats and numerous cars in the building as well, and it was MEIII last known location. Wonder why he didn't store them "ooop nort"!!??

I would have to agree with Steve on this point that I had also heard Miss England II was indeed destroyed in a bombing raid during the second world war and very likely Miss England III was also a casualty of the same explosion.
