Many thanks to Bill and Gordon - a fantastic opportunity - I counted 30 more rivets than my model has so time to get drilling ;)

Erm, I’ve got to admit, I sneaked a packet of ginger nuts in...

We'll ask John or Malcolm to defuse them and get rid...

Glad you guys got some close up time with the boat...

Shame Ernie couldn’t make it as I am sure he could have shared many modelling tips with you.

Expensive to fuel a car to get here though £90 or there abouts i’d say, pending on cars fuel consumption.

From what I saw today they got good value. They've been modelling for years something they had never laid hands or eyes upon. I suspect that much was learned today and much gained for the modelling community, not to mention the new supply of biscuits and beers.

A pleasure to meet you yesterday

Hopefully my tea was not too off putting at least you did not chuck it away like some would! (...you know who you are Rob) and I may volunteer for Domestos duty in the coming weeks....

I learned a lot from you all and Bill from the discussions surrounding the original build and evolution of K7, and the ongoing and yet unfinished restoration.

Good luck with the modelling, I must admit I am tempted to try but know my skills would be very much lacking from the examples I have seen in recent weeks.

I am especially interested in seeing any results from stitching together photographs due to previous experience of lazer scanning car fit and finish over the years so please keep updating progress.

If not already defused - I'll help with the Ginger nuts this week - my favourite biscuit with a cup of tea but I have kept that quiet so far.

By the way - May the force also be with Han on his maiden voyage!

The tea was spot on, not like I’m much of a connoisseur...

That tea was Bob on Gordon, it definitely got my seal of approval[.]
Not sure you should have let everyone know you’re a closet ginger nut lover though lol
Cheers

First our Coniston gig is cancelled, then we have a world of silliness to wade through and now there's a ginger biscuit revolt taking place. Maybe time I faced reality and stepped aside and gave the PM job to someone who looks at Facebollocks and knows about Star Wars.
