Hi All,
There are new, unseen photographs on the Rainbow Forum. The new gates at the Ruskin, they really are something special!

Lovely gates; good to see the Ruskin's pet blacksmith pocketing a few quid off the back of what we're all striving for over here on a voluntary basis. Not.

Re: New Bluebird Wing gates at the Ruskin
Time for a re-measure of the available opening and space when these new gates are open. Operations team will be checking this out. They only remain nice gates if theyt do not take the paint off the boat! (see topic on the cradle).

No one here can make sense of a book plug suddenly appearing in the technical thread with an unrelated quote from Checkie, so I've moved it into the closest thing I could find to a Fred thread. -Mike

Re: The Fred Thread
It would be a 'technical entry' if the last few sentences uttered by DMC have been proven by voice analysis to be something other than ending " ...I'm going .." or ".... I'm gone .." or anything similar.
Fast FACTS would need a review copy of abook to give a 'plug' to enthusiasts.

Not a chance. The AAIB, CVR people did a job on it some years ago and it's unquestionably, 'l'm going!'
