Well the biscuits Connie had at the Sun were Huntley and Palmers, and it was her lids they used to cast the lead.................

I have been thinking along the same lines (impression left in the lead ballast weights by an embossed logo in the biscuit tins used to cast them), but I can't find a biscuit company logo that matches. Maybe it it something a little more obscure, like the logo of the company that made the tin itself?

You're all getting warmer... just need an ID on the logo now.

is it the logo of "nabisco"? something about it reminds me of childhood biscuit tins.

I would venture to suggest that the logo as posted on this thread might be the wrong way up. Looked at the other way, it resembles a stylised figure wearing a big chef's (baker's?) hat.
