I suspect that was a symptom of his showmanship - wouldn't look quite the fighter pilot with the hose lopped off.

I wondered what that piece of foam was doing on the floor when I last visited! Some old guy taking up his new found faith I thought :D
Soft as putty now but we had a hell of a fight to pin those floors down to that pasting table to get all the differing coatings off to enable Bill to get them heat treated. Bloody hard graft if i do say so myself, but all done now though and the Prep department will be closed for business as nowt else to prep me thinks. All Done ? :)

Time to move on to other things once again

Bill and the liquid metal, and judging by the Clock it's 8pm and he's still slaving away. Why am I positive its 8pm and not 8am? Because you would never catch Bill up and about at 8am in the workshop    without a doubt.

I've only ever know one exception and that was the day of the lift at 3.30am!

Watching that floor get transformed has been pretty amazing to say the least, given the state it was in before the team started straightening it !

Bill was good enough to begin his handing down of tin bashery skills on Thursday allowing me to have a "bash" at some tin smithing. Have not done any tin work since sponsons, and its always nice to learn a new skill

Cheers Bill.
