Re: Bluebird & Other Scale Models

The bulkheads are all square at the moment, the top of the frames on the other hand have a very gradual taper until it reaches the spar where it's flat then after the spar it takes a nosedive. That's how it's drawn on the plans I got from Fred?
That's how it's meant to be. It falls three inches from F-15 to F-20 then it's flat for the spar to pass through or, as they did later, sit on top.

Bluebird & Other Scale Models

Haha that's a good idea Richie. I'm planning on putting a thin layer of fibreglass over the inside to round off the square edges.
What's the paint code for "Shabby Silver"?

Ask Mike to do it - he just loves 'shabbying'.

Hmm, shabbying, can't say as I've tried that particular experience yet[.]
Would you guys recommend me putting it on my bucket list?
Out of interest, on this Nexus (pronounced Kerr-app) plan, forward of F15 the sides of the hull have quite a noticeable bow outwards, am I correct in ignoring this? All the pics I've looked at look to be flat & square.

Nope - the bowed shape is correct.
