thank you, great to know now i will get it right, got another one for you now, i thought the 'top' dial was mounted in a 'box' and not flush with the instrument panel or was that in a earlier version ?, thanks for the photo.

Mike,

You forgot to mention the little glare-shield-mabob above the ASI. I'm sure everyone will want to build one of those too. we had to, after all. :D

Oh, I don't know, a carefully filed and sanded toenail clipping ought to do the trick.

yes i knew about the 'glare shield' and have already made the instrument panel, now i can paint it black, i just wanted to know i was doing it right. the instrument panel in 1/10 scale measures in at 40mm wide x 27mm high with 6mm dial diameter.
