A red covered presentation photograph album, detailing the May 1959 record attempts, and Donald Campbell’s subsequent attendance at a Windamere Motor Boat Racing Club function, as Guest of Honour and to present the prizes. There are 37 pictures in total, including Campbell with hirst Mitchell on a jetty; Bluebird at Speed; Campbell in the cockpit etc. A superb and unique artifact, carefully preserved and presented to Hirst Mitchell during his time as Commadore of the Windamere Club. Surely a "must have” item for any Campbell or Water speed Record Fan?
Estimate: £4000 - £5000

I wonder how much they'd have been asking for this item had the BBP never happened and Donald and his boat were still mouldering away on the lakebed.

Think this might have come up Ebay before...didn't sell. Be interesting to see what it goes for in the current economic situation. Chris
