Who was the amateur pulse jet builder who described how easy it would be to build a home made cruise missile with a GPS, one of his bent pipes and a few bits and bobs from the model shop? He landed himself in hot water...

Richie,

I think you have cross-posted, this should be in the "joke of the day" thread!

TVR Cerbera Speed 12

Postby blackandblue » Wed Apr 25, 2012 3:58 pm

Bit of a strange one this... I was just on the TVR section of the Pistonheads Forum and discussing the mad beast that was the TVR Cerbera Speed 12. A comment popped up saying that a couple of the cars, were lost, but there was a rumour one of them was in the workshop where Bluebird was being rebuilt. Now, although I have only just registered on here, I have been keeping an eye on the progress of the Bluebird rebuild for a few years now – almost daily – and have never seen any mention of there being a dismantled TVR in the workshop. But I had to wonder where the rumour had come from... Any thoughts?

That's an easy one. yes - for many years we had a Speed 12 in the workshop alongside K7. The story is in the forum here somewhere. Mike?
