I was curator at Filching, but don't think it's right to list what's in there, as now it forms part of a trust. The owner met Leo, and did a deal whereby the Bluebird artifacts (well some of them) went to Filching on Leo's death, but Leo recieved the money while he was still alive. There's not a great deal of K7 there though.

Thanks for the reply, assume his estate is not interested in working with the BB Team and the museum is just being left to rot for now. thats a real shame

Please email me via 'Ask Fred', from my site, if you require more info on Filching Manor.

Was it a Grifo or a Lele?-Macca was crawling about a garage I worked in a hundred years ago slavering over a delivery mileage Lele the owner had bought and crapped himself the first time out in it!-Iso's were funny beasts- Italian built with a stonking huge American V8-as far as I remember the importer was a Peter Aggs-who was Lambretta Uk's importer-as well as Iso and a few other strange and wonderful makes-when Lambretta finally closed in the Uk the business was taken over by one of the Formula 1 builders- can't remember who-think it may have been Williams- Lambrettas main offices and workshops were in Purley Way Croydon.

It was a Griffo I was supposed to be going and getting, but as I say, it got called off, and never re-arranged.

Peter Agg? If so, it was Trojan, they built F5000s and customer McLarens, and finally the Trojan F1 car, which was a butt ugly piece of kit that Tim Schenken drove, but didn't qaulify very often!!

Charlie Agg (Peter's son) still races, last time I bumped in to him, a Can Am March 707, he had something to do with Heron Suzuki, the importers, he must be in his late 50s early 60s now.

Hi All,

Anyone wishing to see the other pics of Sir Paul McCartney's Hispano-Suiza, I've up-loaded them onto my site at http://www.rainbowcoloured.co.uk. No reason other than I didn't want to take up more room.

Regards, Fred

Yeah the Suzuki bit would be right as Lambretta Concessionaires also had a tie in with Suzuki to the extent that Suzuki GB at that time had the same address and phone as Lambretta!-Purley Way Croydon.-remember Trojan as well-started with Heinkel Bubble cars built under licence and wee delivery vans!-met Peter Agg once-VERY Alan Sugar type!-last of the British Business enterpreneurs-nice guy though! :D
