Our favourite V bomber has completed a second test flight and display sequence practice, with just the weather(!) now being a concern re. getting the aircraft to RAF Fairford for the weekend.

Nice view from the bomb aimer's window here as she returned to the skies last Tuesday...BBP workshop regulars will recognise the tune used until it's faded out for the 'howl', too!

Vulcan and Red arrows mark the opening of the Farnborough airshow - How close does that tail look on landing!

Great to see the old 'tin triangle' flying again, but what's this about the tune? It's either 'Sail' by Awolnation as we're used to hearing accompanying Jeb Corliss's leap off that mountain,

Or it's 'Fail' by Awolnation as we're used to hearing accompanying that video of the Tribute Act slowly sinking...

Must be one or the other.

Great on board footage from the RIAT display- just look how quickly that thing goes from stationary to a 100 degree(?) wingover!

Just looked out of my back window and was amazed to see the Vulcan doing a low level pass over my shed. Practice run for this weeks Sunderland air show. Fantastic sight to start the day.
