That would indeed be Glynn - a proper gent. We first met when he came to look at K7's frame with a view to crash survivability for Quicksilver and we've chatted on and off ever since.

Yeah Bill Put the tools down mate ! And stop running around after all those sponsors organizing materials and stuff. The Workshop will run itself. The Wife and two Children can take care of themselves mate as can the family business. Whats the matter with you man? Didn't you know there are 48hrs in a day

But Seriously people I am sure our infamous Leader will have a little something for you all shortly any day now ;) So please try and be patient as he is getting old which intern brings life's inherent problems i.e forgetfulness not to mention the odd bout of flatulence, gout, incontinence etc etc :) After all I am sure it will be well worth the wait and make for great reading as usual.

And if anybody wants any Christmas Presents or Christmas cards then go to the Bluebird Project shop. We have an excellent selection including a wonderful Christmas card thanks to Arthur Benjamins kindly letting the project use one of his fantastic images taken from one of his Excellent prints "The Christmas Day Run ". Drop a hint to the wife ,kids etc :) Remember every purchase helps with the rebuild of Bluebird K7 in Honour of a Great Man.

Regards to one and all.

Yeah - I hear you. The truth is that there's not much to put in the diary at the moment. We're bogged in miles of small, fiddly jobs and it's difficult to write thousands of words on the problems of fitting the doublers to the floor, heli-coiling the new engine and making up the last of the 'green-beams'. One or two mini rebuild projects are in their infancy, Bluebird's original start system, for example, and the engine control runs, but I want to wait until they have a conclusion before telling the story or it'll end up half told. Won't be long for another diary - promise.

You could always do a post on your other field of expertise Bill. Your football reports went realy well last season

Why do you think I procured a new hi-fi for the workshop? One that doesn't receive radio...

Bravo Bill for juggling boat building, a business and a home life to yet again write a nice long diary piece, which is always as eagerly received by the team as it is by the public, even though we're in it!

".....but I bet there’ll be a lot of griping and moaning if we push it back a year. "

Not from me. You will only rebuild K7 once; stuff the calendar, build her right.
