So I go looking for Naftoseal and come to this range of 45 different products!!!

One reason for the interest in the product you use is that I've chased other recommendations and found dire warnings about them being carcinogenic, and the tin contents drying out, thus giving a very short shelf life.
Started with Duralac Jointing Compound DTD 369B, then was referred to MASTINOX, then there was COR- BAN, or PR1436GA1/2 SEALANT made by PRC -DOSOTO.

So I just thought I'd try to use a product from a company who is supporting a project I would like to support anyway. Isn't that what sponsorship is all about?
Oh well, as they say, it's a grand life, until you weaken.

Thanks for your comments by the way.
Cheers

I realise recent events have pushed this down the list of priorities, but any chance you can let me know which of the 45 versions you use please?
Then I can go away and find a 'retail' supplier.

Thanks.

I finally remembered tonight.
We've splashed out on a new compressor on the basis that the old one is now so past it that the whole crew regularly has to stand down while it huffs and puffs the receiver full again and the plan is to install our new monster tomorrow evening. This meant clearing away a corner of the workshop where our mate Rob had been messing with various tubes of choccie sauce so after prying a sticky tube from the bench I wrote the spec down on a scrap of paper.
We're using Naftoseal MC780. We have two types, C-24 and C-12, the numbers being the time in hours that it takes to cure. Hope this is useful.
I'm only a plumber from Cannock...

This is not put on as a public entertainment... it's put on to reach a certain goal.
