Hello
What a fantastic job you are all doing.
Can you please tell me when you might be doing a run on Coniston with the new Bluebird?
Regards
Ray

Hi Mike and Bill I'll take this one to save you the stress :D

Unfortunately Ray you have asked the most frequently asked question which incurs a small donation to the project. The simple answer is K7 will be ready when she is ready and not before. We are doing this job once and its going to be done right.
Welcome to the project Ray and we hope you enjoy the website.

Regards
Novie

When the last rivet is in the last hole and the blue paint goes on - oh, and the weather has to be good too.

Just a short reply to introduce myself and say hello (from France) to everyone here.
Been following this great adventure since the beginning of the project and I am so glad Bill and his wonderful team are close to achieve their (our) dream.

I am 35, french (nobody's perfect  ), train engineer and building a bluebird model powered by a RC jet engine.

Antoine.

Hi Antoine,

A good mate of mine who hails originally from Tyneside but who now seems to be a naturalised Frenchman drops into the workshop occasionally, shakes his head and says, 'bon courage', whatever that might mean. :D

Welcome and good to have you aboard...

Bill

hi!

Postby pete » Mon Dec 12, 2011 10:18 pm

hello all, i'm pete, and i've been interested in bluebird k7 since i was a small child, i 1st got told what happened when i was sitting in the middle of coniston in my canoe with my dad and to this day remember having goosebumps thinking 'where is it?' 'is it right under me?' and over the years just accepted it was gone forever.
as alot of people probably felt when i first heard she had been found and was to be raised from the depths, is this right, should she be left alone? but when i watched the footage of the wreck emerging from the lake i realised it was what i had wanted to see for years.
my only fear now is that i have missed my opportunity to see this unique piece of history back where she belongs, on the water, wind in her face, whenever i have looked for information on whats happening, i always seem to be to late, and missed the event altogether.
so i suppose my question is: is she to run again or is that it?
my dad and i would love to see her, actually see her, not just on the tv, or on youtube, but there.. infront of us, and with a bit of luck throwing up some spray in anger. p
pete
