The website that was planned and completed is still on the web

This was the one originally set up because Tony was upset.

As I said, we have been talking about revisiting and finishing what we started. People were asked to help / join. Yes they are at the top of their profession..would you want a team otherwise?
The website and all the artists work was put together with the interviews and .........nothing

How many got too much 'wow' looking at the artist impression and didn't see:
1] all the numerous spelling mistakes?
2] The column on the left re history disagreed with the history section re speeds etc
3]The History section being a direct lift from the webeden site with the same photos.

Hardly a professional site to put out with all the 'profesionals'

It was/ is for public consumption when[IF] it is completed

IF we progress to more than talking.........

As I said before, IF anything happens, you will be the first to know ! Sorry if I/we got your hopes up but at the moment Nigel is the only challenger at the moment with one other team[not involving me] past the talking stage in this country[ to my knowledge]

I read the list of contributors with eyebrows raised even further than Novie can manage and thought, wonder if that person knows they're involved...

Please dont think I'm having a dig at anyone involved in this.
This is what happened when I clicked on the link and saw the site................

I saw the video, and near the end of it I saw a few seconds worth of footage showing some carbon fiber laminators (my co workers) and then another one, of my co workers loading one of our autoclaves, followed by a quick shot of an old mock up chassis and sidepod (with a mock up paint scheme on) I thought thats odd

It dawned on me that it must be a hoax, after I had posed the question to someone in our marketing department,

(I asked him if had he any knoledge of the attempt, and/or the use of our footage in the promotion video).

he was very, very suprised to hear of it ..

I would have expected the people featured on the video to have expected that the project that was being 'sold' to them was not just a virtual or hypothetical one.

As to the 'did we spot spelling errors' that is no excuse, because many of the most recent speed related websites have them or even more fundamental factual errors.

Whose autoclave or chassis was in the final pictures?

Question which might help in my understanding of this affair.

Question which might help in my understanding of this affair.

(1) The part of the video I was refering to was the footage of the workers in a clean room, and the footage of the loading of the autoclave,....THATS ALL .... nothing to do with the rest of the footage or people featured in it.

(2) Redbull F1Team. It's their laminators, and their autoclaves shown in the footage.
It looks like it has been cut out of one of their Promotional videos, and slotted into the one that was linked to "britishpursuit" .

With even the holding notice now gone from the internet we will not know anymore until there is a new website.

Thanks for the information regarding the location of the autoclave. Only makes sense to take footage from the best!
