Tribute Act

Postby Jordangbr » Thu Jan 26, 2012 1:23 am

Why has there been nothing from Charles Morris in all this hoo ha?
It's his baby and money but when things started to go wrong politically and physically it was Jim Noone who had to face the media and take the flack. I have not seen one press release or interview from him.
It seems to me it's the Dave Aldred show featuring Charles Morris.

Nice to see all our girls laid out there as it were, but shame on Bill for forgetting one- his wife! Rachel has not only run the Bluebird Project shop for (how many?) years now, but above all else, she's put up with her big unruly( ) husband spending most of his waking life locked in a workshop, and everything else this project brings- good and bad. To me, she's team every bit as much as those of us on the tools. (She's another dark haired babe, too!)

Perhaps this is where the 'team' supports the person who is putting their crown jewels, or house, or both on the line to achieve a speed goal. A strong personality may actually help in driving a project forward, but I have not met an unruly one associated with cars, bikes or boats. Perhaps I have been lucky :o

There may not be an I in 'team' but there is in 'committee' and they are known to produce camels instead of thoroughbred horses.

Jordan - Gina and Charles sent out a joint press release on the 4th November - the only public statement from him.

Very strange still how it was just the one release. You would have thought he would have done more especially with the furore surrounding his project and team instead of letting Jim face the press.

A very clever political manoeuvre, I thought.
It was hardly going to be reported in the wake of all the, shameless publicity stunt - oops, and now it's sunk! media coverage so it fell into a black hole in the news world. There were no photographs or video either - wonder why?

And if you believe the content there's a Mrs Npongo in the Cameroon whose husband died some years ago leaving a billion-squillion dollars that you must help her give to charity because she's dying now and has no one. All you need to do is send your bank details... :D
