There's a new Bluebird model coming available soon...
Down at BBP HQ we've been cooking something up. Doddy has been quietly bashing away at a few pieces of scrap tin and from it has emerged a sculpture of K7. Doddy, for those who don't know, worked on the real boat in 1958 - ish. The sculpture is about eighteen inches long and very detailed but that's not where it ends. You see, everyone on the project has done a bit on it. From the welding to the fettling or cutting of pieces we've all had a hand in it. And it gets better - the tail fin is held on with rivets we took out of K7 and re-used and when the dragon's teeth under the bow go on they'll be made of genuine LOOF. There's still some touches to add to it and once it's done we'll auction it off to pay for the small fortune's worth of rivets Mike is asking for to finish the intakes. A truly unique item oozing with provenance.
