Yes, you're probably right Mike. Anyhow, I have a day of liesure today whence Guinness shall be consumed ( and who knows... perhaps chickens and bog roll too later.. ;) ) and just by way of whimsical research I shall take with me a copy of the K7 Infinity logo just to see if it ellicits any response from the drinking classes. Check back later for the results..

Here goes then. I asked two simple questions, the first - "What does this (K7 Logo) mean to you?" I recieved the following genuine responses...

'A Mensa Puzzle'

'A Mountain'

'A pool ball'

'An Afghanistan roadsign'

' Sign on a golf course'

'Part of Einstein's theories'

'Pi'

'Something to do with chess'

'Eurotunnel marker'

So, as expected no great Bluebird awareness going on. However, after informing the respondents what they were actually looking at, the interest level rocketed Orpheus-like - and to the second question 'Would you recognize the symbol if you saw it again?' - every single person responded 'Yes'..well viral!

As I said, the infinity symbol is meaningless to Joe Public. But 'Donald Campbell's Bluebird', now that means something. Donald may have been finding it tough going in his last few years, but he'd no doubt be chuffed to know that British industry is throwing it's doors open for him now; the media, too.
