I have just come across some interesting material on YouTube. it's one of a series of clips taken from "The Price of a Record" by John Pett and all clips are notable for their clarity.
Here is an example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXufighmMp8
As the clip shows, this is one of many being held in the Border Film Archive at the University of Cumbria. There is a website http://www.itvborderarchive.com, but it's still under construction.
However, by using the search term "border film archive bluebird" on YouTube, a good number of interesting clips can be found, for example an interview with one of the cameramen who filmed the 1967 crash. It looks like there may be some interesting material available from the main archive once it's open.
