Happy New Year

Happy New Year

Postby Mike Bull » Fri Dec 31, 2010 8:34 pm

Well we're into the dying hours of 2010 in the UK, and what a year it's been for the BBP. Steady progress in all departments, new sponsors left right and centre, ever-growing media and public interest, and even the team itself has grown.

A couple of hours ago Bill killed the lights and I locked the door, and we left our beloved machine for the last time this year.

...but we'll be back in there first thing tomorrow! :D

To all our supporters, thank you and a very Happy 2011.

And a Happy New year to all from me too... look closely and you'll see that the old girl is dressed in her new nose badge to see the new year in. It's an original piece of freehand artwork donated by a talented artist with a keen interest in K7... ;)

Happy New Year to one and all!

Judging by the volume of recent Guest Book entries, the Sky News documentary has been hugely well received. Well done to all. Have a truly greart 2011.

Ian.

It really has and we're very pleased with it all, especially with the graphic of the impact, showing as it does for the first time the correct attitude of the boat as she impacted, as proven all along by the forensic information from the boat herself and even more irrefutably, from the rear-view footage of the accident as used at the end of 'Across The Lake'.

The new custard-bound budgie is a thing of absolute beauty- it's been exquisitely painted.

The doco has been very well received, the website has been busy and shop orders are overflowing so it's been extremely good for the project and the doco is showing for a few days yet. Can't complain...
