Bill, good rant I liked it.. I hope you managed to tell the 'instructor' that the safest form of travel is the fastest...Flying!!
That the speed limits were set in the 1930's when cars had pre stretched cable drum brakes! not the new fangled hydraulic disc brakes your monster has. That the land speed record is over 750mph.. and curses galore one of the safest sports is motor racings formula 1 where they go a little bit quick I am told.

With regard to the poor guy who got done for 'obstruct police' well he should sue his solicitor!!.. hands up all those people who have seen the 'speed camera warning signs?' and the 'Police Speed camera' signs? why the heck did he not go and photograph all these signs, write a statement as to the time, date and location the photos were taken and then dump them on the prosecution table in the middle of the trial? .. if the Police and Local Authority can do it so can the the person in the street!. If the person in the street is prosecuted for it then must follow that the said local authorities and police must also be culpable!

Oh my last full time occupation was...?? bet you can guess!
